It would be a dream to have a perfect day and it would go like this. First of all, it would be my birthday. I would wake up late, so I could be well rested and the bright sunshine would be bursting through my window. The natural light would put me in a good mood to start off my day. Then, I would get dressed in my favorite outfit (a Hawaii shirt with black jeans) and then go downstairs. There would be freshly made cinnamon rolls on the table just for me, along with tons of birthday presents. I would eat all the cinnamon rolls, and then go upstairs. I would brush my teeth, do my hair and makeup, and put all my favorite jewelry on. Then, I would go back downstairs to bake. I would bake my favorite brownies with chocolate frosting, and maybe even an Oreo on top. When they are in the oven, I would open my presents. I would rip the wrapping paper and peek inside to find Lululemon items! Just what I wanted. Then, I would take the brownies out of the oven, let them cool, and eat macaroni and cheese. Then, I would gobble up the brownies, and they would melt in my mouth. I would spend the rest of the day shopping online, ordering a bunch of clothes, and for dinner I would have soup with my dad’s chicken. After that, I would sleep and dream it would all happen again.

If I could be one age for the rest of my life, I would be 22. My first reason, is freedom. I could drive, and live in my own house. I could also buy whatever I want, whenever I want. I love the feeling of freedom so I feel like I would be very happy. My next reason is a job. Now usually, people don’t like jobs, and working. But I want one so bad. I really want to be a interior designer, and I think that would be so fun. Also, the thought of earning money, is amazing. I usually only get money from Christmas, and birthdays, so getting it probably every month, wow! My last reason, is animals. My mom won’t let our family get a dog, because they’re “to much work,” but I would totally get a bunch of furry friends to keep me company. An extra reason, would be the fact that I would always be the age of an amazing Taylor Swift song! That is the age I would want to be forever.

On one gorgeous planet, there lived a clown. This clown was a hungry clown. He loved to eat food. But his favorite food to eat, was definitely bacon. Now, unfortunately for him, bacon was super expensive on planet flank. He often wished he were human, and lived on earth, so he could eat bacon all day, every day. The clown hadn’t eaten bacon for far to long, and he had already traveled through valleys, mountains, lakes, everything to get some for cheap. So one day, the clown got impatient. He went to his local supermarket, and decided to do something very naughty. He crept over to the bacon isle, and carefully placed his hand on the package. He felt the cold packet in his large hands, and suck it into his basket! He then quickly bolted out of the store and ran. The refreshing air, on his stressed body felt magnificent, and the still cold, packet of bacon clutched tightly in his hands. He then looked back. Nobody was there, chasing him, angry he had done such a thing. He was quite confused. Just then, everything was a blur. Darkness started to takeover his vision. He was blinking rapidly to stop, but the shadows were just to strong. Suddenly, he woke up.

In September, I read a book called Restart by Gordon Korman. Restart is about a thirteen year old boy named Chase, and how he got amnesia after falling off his roof. Chase does not remember anything about his past self except things like walking, and talking, and a little girl. Everyone in school keeps giving him odd looks like their scared of him due to his past self, because he was a bully.

I recommend this book, as it felt like I was going through everything the character was. Whenever the character would figure something out for the first time, like shocking news, we would to, and we got to feel the same emotion. Then, the character would (usually) act the emotion, and I would be curious to see what they would do next because sometimes, I wouldn’t know myself. That made me very engaged, wanting to read more.

Chase was my favorite character, and I know he’s the main character, but I can’t help but love how he changed for the best. He made decisions that I would have made, and said things I would have said, so I felt closer to him. Also, he proves he’s humble by standing up for what’s right, even if that means he could suffer, like on pg. 235 he says, “I’m sorry Your Honor, but I can’t make that guarantee. I feel different; I have no urge to do the things I used to do. But the person who stole the metal was inside me once. I can’t promise that he’s gone forever.”

My favorite quote from Restart is, “This is an awful thing that’s happened to you, but it’s also presenting you with a rare opportunity. You have the chance to rebuild yourself from the ground up, to make a completely fresh start.” This is my favorite quote because it shows how people should be open minded and how there is good in everything. It teaches Chase to look on the bright side and ultimately makes him a little bit of a better person.

If I could live in any fictional movie, it would be Harry Potter. I would love to be a witch, in the slytherin. One reason, flying. It would be so fun to ride on brooms through the air flying, and feeling like a bird. I could also go to the quidditch games, to watch others fly, and cheer on my team! Or, I could be on the team myself (I would prefer to be a seeker). Another reason, is the magic of course! It’s so incredible how casting spells looks on screen, and to do it myself, wow! It would be so convenient to have my magic wand do all the things I don’t want to. The last reason, is the wonderful folks. The witches and wizards all seem so caring and fun to be around. Except for the antagonists, but it wouldn’t matter because I would be surrounded by so many other people who are the exact opposite. We could stay up all night and have fun, and laugh. That is definitely a world I want to live in.

I love food. But some of them aren’t my favorite, and some of them are! So I’ll be talking about the good ones. My favorite meal. First, soup. Chicken noodle soup. The broth has a nice flavor, and the noodles just slide onto my tongue with a soft texture. Slurping it all up gives me the wonderful satisfaction of enjoyment. For the side dish, I love my dad’s chicken he makes. He marinates it in this delicious liquidity mixture, that gives the chicken a nice flavored edge. The texture is perfectly chewy. Not the chewy where your chewing for eternity, but the chewy where it sits in your mouth just long enough to where the flavor is still there. And finally, the drink. Blue, or red, Gatorade. They both have an incredible flavor full of powerful electrolytes that makes me energized. I just can’t get enough to of it. I can’t wait to eat this scrumptious meal again!

I would love to be able to design my own house! I would live in California because of the wonderful weather. I want to live by a shopping center with all my favorite stores, because I love shopping. I would also like to live walking distance from a school so if I had kids, they could walk. I want a two story house that is long. A pathway leading up the the front door, with some greenery and flowers. Also some grass out front with a three car garage. Inside, I want neutral colors. Not cottage like, but classic, with a lot of windows. For my room, I want a big walk-in closet. I want it to be a danish pastel style with pastel colors, and a big tv. As for my kitchen, I want brown cabinets, with a moving island. I also want a high tech refrigerator. Another thing would be a game room with pool, and other fun games. Something else would be a secret room behind a bookshelf. I would have the room based my passion, whatever it may be. For my backyard I want a ginormous pool that goes really deep. I want a rock wall with stairs, a slide, and a cliff to jump from into the pool. I also would like a cabana with a bbq. That’s by dream house!

If I could travel anywhere on planet Earth, it would be New York. The first reason, is that it is so eventful. I love busy places where if your bored you can simply just walk around and window shop! There would be so much to see and do. The next reason would be because of the musicals. I am obsessed with musicals including Six, Mean Girls, and Hamilton. There are incredible famous theaters, with fabulous performers, who train day and night to perfect their acts so we are entertained. The third reason, is the view. With the Empire State Building, to the Statue of Liberty, the sites are breathtaking. I would get some killer pictures to share, and admire once back home.

Hi, my name is Ashlee. Welcome to my blog. Allow me to introduce myself. I am a seventh grader at a middle school in California. I am a pisces, and I love dogs. I really want a black dachshund with gold accents, but my mom thinks their to much work. I am twelve years old, but i am quite short. I have brown hair as well as brown eyes. I also have an older brother who is a year and a half older than me, in eighth grade. I like to spend my free time dancing and shopping. I am a competitive dancer and go to my studio five out of seven days of the week. I recently got rid of a lot of clothes so it’s exiting to get to shop for new clothes online. I like online shopping better than in person shopping because there are more options. That’s a bit about me!
